Traditional Touches Times Two

Try saying that three times fast!

Here's the first one.

Retrosketch provided the layout.  I flipped it.

And while I was at it...

The colors are from the Color Challenge at SCS this week.

Tempting Turquoise ---- Pear Pizazz ----- Gumball Green
Dessert is Washi tape.

I still don't have any Washi tape and I'm too lazy busy to make any of the faux tape.

This was a big step for me to use Turquoise on a Christmas card. And no red.

I used quite a few snippets, so I'll skip over the the playground at Pixies Crafty Workshop and do some sharing there.

All supplies are Stampin' Up! unless otherwise noted

Card Recipe (card 1)
Stamps:  Traditional Touches, Easy Events (card 1), More Merry Messages (card 2)
Ink:  Gumball Green, SU Markers (Pear Pizzazz, Gumball Green, Tempting Turquoise
Paper:  Whisper White, Gumball Green, scraps of Pear Pizzazz
Other:  Big Shot, Square Lattice EF, Island Indigo Baker's Twine (died Tempting Turquoise), Crystal Effects (card 1), Basic Pearls, Branch Punch (MS)

Thanks for stopping in for a look.

Enjoy!

Both cards are so beautiful, Bonnie! Love the pine branches at the top. Those ornaments look fabulous with the jewelled decorations. Love the glossy accents as well.

I love the turquoise! Nontraditional colors are all the rage this year. Beautiful cards, Bonnie.

And BTW, new blog design right? I mean, do I have permanent brain damage now? (Yes, how would we know? Hahaha.) I like what you've done with the place!!

Hi Bonnie - this is fabulous, really elegant. You'd laugh, I'm surfing in bed with my morning cuppa and showed your lovely card to Len. 'That's real class' said he, to which I replied 'it is indeed Klass', to which he said 'huh?' - so I had to explain :)

Snort, he could become a follower!

Hugs, Di xx

It IS hard to make a Christmas card, and use non-traditional colors. It is for me too! You did it perfectly. Your ornaments are so pretty in turquoise & green, looked quite festive. Loved the layouts you followed so well, and the Emb. Folders too. I don't think the Washi was missed at all. Great cards. TFS
